Happy July Everyone!!!

Hi Everyone

Natasha here I hope you are all well and enjoying your summer so far! I cannot believe how humid it is in Tokyo at the moment. It is defintiely taking some getting used to. Climate in England is very different to climate in Japan, we also have a lot of rain but ours doesn`t only last a few weeks it goes on ALL year

I like it when it`s sunny here but it can also get very muggy and sticky. But it`s still worth being in this amazing country Everyday I am fascinated by the new things I see and the beautiful culture you have.

I can`t believe how fast time is going also. I have been here over 3 months now, it`s just goins so quicky. There are so many things I would like to do and see but as we say "There aren`t enough hours in one day" and "Time flies when you are having fun!"

I am also trying to get my parents to come out and visit me. They came to Japan a long time ago too when they were the same age as me and they havent had the chance to come back so I think it`s time they did! They climbed Mt Fuji when they were here so I am hoping they will come and we can all climed it together, that would be an amazing and unforgettable experience!

Anyway I won`t bore you too much, I should probably go and do some work

Udon Paradise

Hello everyone,

This is James teacher writing on behalf of Kitty Club. I hope you are all doing very well!

I have a few questions for you: Do you like to eat Udon? Have you ever eaten handmade udon? Have you ever made it all by yourself? If you answered ''yes'' to any of these questions than I`m sure you would have loved our recent udon festival! Not only did we get to enjoy delicious handmade udon, we got to make it all by ourselves!

In my nearly three years in Japan I`ve eaten a LOT of udon, and I can honestly tell you that the best I have ever had came from the ''Kitty Klub Kitchen''! So, if you have a chance, please try to attend our next delicious and fun udon festival!

Strawberry Fields Forever in the Summer Rain

Greetings and Salutations from this puddle of melted Jacqueline.

That's right...I'm melting! It's really quite hot these days isn't it..and it's getting hotter and hotter isn't it. I've been told that this isn't even true Japanese Summer heat! It's still rainy season!

Oh well...I'm sure everyone is getting ready for the Summer with swim suits and sun screen. Once you have all explored the beaches please tell me which one I should visit.

Anyway, on a more serious note, I'm about to start teaching my first Advanced class tomorrow evening. I will have three students in this class (so far) and they have been preparing for the past few months with a lot of intense studying. I have, of course, also been studying for this class by reading the text book and other such activities that remind me of my high school days.

It has been a while since I've been in an Advanced class, but from what I remember, the students get to study some quite interesting subjects. The first one I will have the pleasure of teaching will be the much loved subject of MOVIES!

What kind of movies do you all like? I love movies with lots of action and Jet Li! That's right! JET LI! Of course I very much prefer his older movies before he was a big star in Hollywood but his newer ones are okay too. And let's not forget his movie with Aaliyah! For those of you who don't yet know, Aaliyah was a very famous singer who died a few years ago. So, basically, that movie, Romeo Must Die, put together my favourite actor and a singer who I really loved. And I'm sure everyone knows how much I love singing and music in general, so it was a movie I enjoyed very very much indeed.

So, here's my challenge for all of you out there who may or may not read my entries in the Kitty Blog:

サマースクールが楽しみで夜も眠れない
夏女サマーです

キティでは、サマーホームステイ、サマースクールで盛り上がっていますが、
レッスンでもすごく熱気ムンムンで盛り上がっています

土曜日のスーパーＡクラスでは、
Ｍｉｔｃｈｅｌｌ先生の、
「Hands on your head」
の掛け声にあわせてみんな手を頭に置き、
言われたカードを誰が早く取れるか
というゲームです

みんなたくさん取ろうと集中して聞いて目にも留まらぬ速さで
パンパンカードを取っています
チャンピオンは誰だ

１歳からのサマースクール２００９！

Ｈｅｌｌｏ！！
夏大好き！夏生まれのジェダイです。
さて、キティにはなんと、１歳から参加できるサマースクールまであります！！！やったー
しかも夏らしくプールに枝豆に！夏モード全快
もちろん、親子分離です。５時間た～っぷり英語で夏の思い出をつくっていきます。

食育ってことで、なんと山形県の農家さんから直輸送の高級だだちゃまめの収穫体験ができる予定です。
もちろん、上手に収穫できたら、おいしくいただきましょうね

なんと、東急大井町線尾山台駅前の送迎サーービスも予定されています。
もちろん先生たちが送迎してくれます

サマースクール！！！！

HELLO
いつでもどこでも暑苦しい夏女、サマーです

さてさて、いよいよ梅雨を吹き飛ばして、
夏をお迎えする時期となりました
イベント大好きなキティでは、盛りだくさんのイベントを用意しています

早速7月からは年少さんから小学生まで対象の
「サマーホームステイ」があります！！
毎年定員いっぱいで、大人気です
今年のメインイベントは、
「巨大プール」
「流しそうめん」です

予告のチラシを生徒さんに配っていたら、
「プールの水着は持参ですか？？」とママ
予告の時点で参加する気満々です

ホームステイの予約は7月1日１０：００～電話先行予約開始です

ＪＡＰＥＣ講習会後の子供たち

夏バテ防止のために体力作りを考えているベティです(･∀･)

さてさて
６月１４日にＪＡＰＥＣ講習会＆模擬試験が旗の台スクールでありました
初めて受ける子も以前受けた子もみんな真剣そのもの

講習会＆模擬試験を受けたあとの子供達の様子をママ達からお聞きしました

３級を受験した等々力スクールＹｕｋａちゃんはお家に帰ってからなんと復習をしたそうです
わからないところはママに聞いたりすごく一生懸命
その姿にママもびっくりッッ
「こんなに英語にのめり込むなんてびっくりしました受けさせてよかったです」とママも大喜びでした
Ｙｕｋａちゃんは講習会の時も「あーこれレッスンでやった」ときちんと身についていましたよ

６級を受験した等々力スクールＴａｋａｔｓｕｎａくんはもちろん今回が初めての講習会です
ママは「大丈夫かなー」と心配していました(´･ω･｀)
しかし終わった後Ｔａｋａｔｓｕｎａくんが「楽しかった～明日も来るッ」と言ったことにママは驚きつつも大喜びだったそうです
普段のレッスンとは違う英語のレッスンが新鮮だったようです

２８日にまた受験する子供達も頑張りましょうね

Happy Birthday Demon and Jacqueline!!!

Hi guys,

Natasha here! For those that don`t know me, I`m fairly new here at Kitty club. I`ve been here nearly 2 months now and so far I`m having such a good time!

It`s my first time in Japan and everyone has been so nice to me and made me feel so welcome. Kitty is a really fun place to work and I hope I can stay here for a long time and get to know you all a lot better.

Anyway, guess what?! I was in the Kakinoki-Zaka area today so I popped into Kitty Club and...lucky me, I arrived just in time for Demon and Jacqueline`s Birthday celebrations! Summer emerged from the kitchen with a yummy cholocate cake and we all sang Happy Birthday and filled our tummies with the yummiest cake in the world!

I hope both of the girls have great Birthdays and wish them both a happy year!

Sorry got to go, I`ve got a class in Jiyugaoka and I don`t want to be late!
